JAVIER BOTELLA & ALBERT SANZ

SING FOR GERSHWIN, PORTER AND WEILL

This repertoire draws on American music and jazz standards based on Broadway's golden age, with teachers Kurt Weill, George Gershwin and Cole Porter as guides.

Both have made an exquisite selection of songs in which the elegance and magic of Albert Sanz when playing the piano, his freshness and his youth combine perfectly with the more mature and velvety voice of Javier Botella.

Their voices blend harmoniously thanks to their great harmony, which manages to get the best out of themselves and these beautiful songs, with sincere lyrics and melodies that have the power to transport us to another place and another time.

'IT NEVER WAS YOU'

A gifted pianist and composer, he graduated Cum Laude from the prestigious Berklee College of Music and has shared the stage with top musicians in Boston and New York.

He has recorded numerous albums with different artists, which gives us an idea of his great versatility and professionalism. Albert Sanz is still in excellent shape, as is well demonstrated in this latest project in collaboration with Javier Botella, “It never was you”.
